A retired school psychologist and special education teacher, he is currently a member of Mankind Porject-USA (MKP-USA) and has served as the MKP-USA Multicultural Presenter Council Chairperson and MKP Multicultural Center Representative Chairperson. He is a presenter of the Issues and Isms: Introduction to Multicultural Awareness and Access to Allies trainings and co-creator and facilitator of the Unpacking Power Privilege and Difference online training. In addition, he is the professional development coordinator and a presenter with GLSEN San Diego, a nonprofit organization serving LGBTQ+ youth. With this organization, he presents workshops to groups (medical professionals, educators, social workers, administrators, and therapists) who serve LGBTQ youth in order to create safer respectful spaces for the youth they serve. He is also a member of a number of community groups that advocate for LGBTQ+ youth.
