ABOUT
THE LEARNING INSTITUTE CRUISE
Inspired by the work of the late David Mallery, our week-long experience brings together people who are “in education” in many different ways.
Learning Institute attendees may be working with three-year olds, senior citizens, or any ages between. They may be subject-matter specialists or generalists, from public, private, or independent institutions. They may be from innovative or traditional places, and may be at many different stages of their own careers and explorations.
This multi-day experience will bring Black educators together to root themselves in research and affinity based reflection in order to understand how they can lead from a place that leverages multiple parts of their identity.
