DR. TAIJUAN CLAYTON
Senior Associate
Dr. Taijuan Clayton currently serves as an Assistant Principal for Atlanta Public Schools. Dr. Clayton holds a doctoral degree from Argosy University. He has 14 years experience as an educator working in a variety of public and nonprofit settings with diverse student populations from elementary through high school.
Dr. Clayton has served in a number of roles as classroom teacher, early intervention specialist, student support team chair, educational consultant, instructional coach, and school support team specialist. His responsibilities and expertise include: curriculum and instruction, design andevaluation of professional development, federal grants specialist, K-12 mathematics, and positive behavior reinforcement.
As a change agent, Dr. Clayton believes instructional leaders should ensure positive educational experiences and social emotional learning are incorporated in their classrooms and buildings. Reflective teaching is a great aspect of our practice. He believes his philosophy and experiences promote him as a teacher leader who is a catalyst for educational change, by "reversing destruction and capturing tomorrows".
