Time is running out; the clock is ticking!
As you know, each board member must complete 12 hours of annual SCSC-approved charter school governing board training.
LEADright—an approved provider—is offering affordable, just-in-time governance training designed to assist charter school boards with meeting annual training requirements:
Sessions begin at 9am Eastern and end at 9am-3pm Eastern. Board members who successfully complete the training will receive supporting documentation for the SCSC including certificates of completion for each participant and signed syllabi for alternate training modules. Each 3-hour module is $250. When you register, simply select each module needed to satisfy the SCSC 12-hour training requirement.

- 3 hours Finance (i.e., sound fiscal management; monitoring the implementation of the school’s budget)
- 3 hours Governance (i.e., best practices on school governance)
- 3 hours Academics (i.e., academic accountability for state charter schools)
- 3 hours Legal (i.e., legal requirements of state charter schools; Open Meetings Act and Open Records Act requirements)
